METHODOLOGICAL INSTRUCTIONS
on applying the sanitizer with deodorizing effect
"ECOSEPT-DEZI"
for filtering out air in premises
1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1. Full name of the agent: disinfectant with deodorizing effect "ECOSEPT-DEZI" for filtering out air in premises as required by Technical Specification of Ukraine 24.5-33887884-001:2009.
2. Composition of the agent, content of reactants and additives, masses. %: Reactant of the "ECOSEPT-DEZI" is an extract of Yucca Schidigera plant being a rich source of steroidal saponins with weight fraction of 0,1-5,0% in ready solution, including functional components (sodium benzoate -0,01 mg/m3, natural volatile oils - 0,5% and deionized water).
3. Intended use: "ECOSEPT-DEZI" is used to remove from air of premises the following chemical substances - phenol, formaldehyde, ammonia, xylene, tobacco combustion products - nicotine, dry reisns and to effectively suppress various odors.
It has bactericidal and viricidal effect and may be used for air disinfestation, prevents increase of microbial contamination and spread of infections and ensures infection prophylaxis:
- in entertainment and recreation facilities and offices;
- in municipal objects and places of general public use ( including temporal places of residence - hotels, campsites and dwelling apartments) saunas, swimming pools, bath-houses, railway stations, public toilets, laundries, dry cleaners, etc;
- in health care and sports facilities;
- educational institutions of different accreditation level;
- in public facilities (hairdressers, beauty salons, manicure and pedicure parlors, SPA-centers, etc.);
- in housing and utilities infrastructure facilities(at the places where garbage-disposal and collecting equipment and containers are located);
- for the purpose of disinfestation and air humidifying , removing unpleasant odors, in penitentiary facilities and military facilities;
- on vehicles and motor transport facilities (including passenger, medical transport and food carriers, garbage disposal vehicles, etc.), railway transport, water transport, ground handling facilities, underground transport;
- in public catering and trade facilities, in food processing enterprises, markets;
- in customs temporary storage facilities and custom terminals;
- in health care facilities i.e. hospitals, out-patient clinics, dental clinics, military hospitals, specialized clinics, in-patient treatment centers, health resorts, preventive clinics, rehabilitation centers, first aid stations, medical departments, first-aid and obstetric centers, medical centers, pathoanatomical departments, social protection centers;
- in pharmaceutical institutions (chemist's shops, pharmacies, branch pharmacies, pharmacy storage facilities, etc.)
4. Antimicrobic effect spectrum. "ECOSEPT-DEZ" has bactericidal effect on gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria (S. aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosae, Penicillium chrysogenum, Streptococcus pneumonicae, Legionella pneumphila, Koch's bacillus) and Candida albicans. It also has anti-inflammatory effects on influenza virus agents (À - H1N1 virus, Í5 N1 virus and Í3 N2 virus, etc.) and it may also be used for preventing aerosolized viral pollution of air in premises.
