100^th anniversary of the legendary LEO

Few of the Capital's restaurants can boast of such a long history! It was on the 24^th of March when LEO restaurant grandly opened its door to guests on the occasion of its anniversary.

In this particular year the legendary restaurant had a double reason to arrange festivity — 4^th anniversary of its reconstruction coincided with the 100^th anniversary of the restaurant itself!

The restaurant which is now also known as LEO is a facility with centenary history at the very heart of Kyiv City. Upon its reconstruction a lion has become a symbol of the restaurant being an embodiment of royalty and nobility for the restaurant has been the favorite venue of the Capital's elite to the present day.

Festive atmosphere on the anniversary occasion was ensured by well-known bands "Asturia" string quartet and "No comments" band that performed world hits in jazz and disco styles. And the turning point of the evening was the performance by Touch & Go British jazz-band whose hits like "Would You Go To Bed With Me", "Straight To Number One", "So Hot" and "Tango In Harlem" captivated the entire world.

And of course, as it always happens on any birthday celebration, it could not go without a festive feed and a cake from the masterful chef, Mr. Denis Kuznetsov who baked the cake to an exclusive recipe using pigeon's milk and marzipan and topping it with a golden image of lion.

LEO requires no representation. The restaurant with a short name and a long history has been a symbol of success as many as one century.
