Piano hall

Even when music is being heard in Piano hall, the silence, so necessary to us for a smooth flow of thoughts and harmony with the environment, is just like an invisible hostess always present inside.

One of the most popular halls of the LEO can be seen as soon as you go through the Gallery to the very end. Well-known word "Piano" is in the name of this hall. It is really so indeed. Right at the entrance to the hall in a cozy green corner with floor lamps you cannot but notice a nice grand piano and a delicate bend of a harp. However, according to a legend this hall was named so by the founders not only because a fascinating fragrance of piano and stringed music reigns here. The fact is that in the Gallery, as well as in other halls of the LEO, silence is being a "weighty" component here. "Piano" is a mode of playing accepted in music and it literally means "quiet".

Even when music is being heard in Piano hall, the silence, so necessary to us for a smooth flow of thoughts and harmony with the environment, is just like an invisible hostess always present inside. It may be a bright day or fascinating twilight outdoors, fresh flower ikebanas or burning candles may be placed on tables, the harp and piano may start their endless dialogue or just whisper to one another in the corner you will always feel comfortable in this hall enjoying calmness and silence which are such rare nowadays …
